I saw AVATAR at the IMAX today with my mom. It was great! She really enjoyed it also which was semi-surprising. Mainly just since it’s a sci-fi movie. However, there’s enough in it to where you don’t have to like a particular genre in order to like the movie. She agreed that the story wasn’t anything spectacular, but even so, it was presented very well.
The more I see the movie, the more I enjoy it. The initial concerns I had in my previous posts are still there, but are much easier to look past. I can’t wait for the bluray/dvd to come out (and see all the behind-the-scenes)!! Until then, I guess I’ll just have to keep giving money at the theater to see it again.
